Nolinski Venezia Hotel
Nolinski Venezia stands in the historic heart of the city, steps from St. Mark’s Square and La Fenice Theatre. This singular property redefines luxury hospitality through monumental architecture where Art Nouveau, Liberty style and Modernism converge. Housed within the former Chamber of Commerce, our 5-star hotel in Venice features 43 unique rooms and 13 suites, each conceived as a private world apart.
The interior atmosphere layers noble Venetian materials with a curated collection of contemporary and antique artworks. Terrazzo flooring, stucco marmorino walls and dark mango wood panelling bring a deep sensory warmth to every space. Guests enjoy two distinct dining concepts under the Zeffirino name, alongside a gold-leaf tiled plunge pool on the top floor commanding a sweeping panorama over the Venetian skyline.
Our curators & designers
Yann Le Coadic & Alessandro Scotto: Designers
Interior designers Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto led the architectural transformation of this listed historic building. The duo navigated structural constraints to create a fluid, continuous dialogue with the past. They preserved the original ironwork, listed terrazzo floors and pointed vault ceilings. Layering powdery rose velvets against deep ebony woodwork and encaged blown-glass lanterns by local Venetian master glassmakers, the pair achieved a striking neo-gothic tension.
Amélie du Chalard
Art curator Amélie du Chalard assembled an eclectic and emotionally charged collection for the property, one that evokes the private home of a well-travelled aesthete. Two stone lions from the 17th century greet guests at the entrance. A monumental blown-glass sun covered in gold leaf by Jeremy Maxwell Wintreber commands the lobby, while custom ceramic reliefs by Valeria Nascimento echo the structural strata of the lagoon.
Anatole Desachy
Independent chineur and book curator Anatole Desachy conceived the literary collection inside the Library Bar. He sourced over 4,000 rare books, exhibition monographs and art catalogues spanning five centuries of Italian design, photography and history, a selection built to nourish intellectual curiosity. Each prestige suite in the hotel features a custom mini-library to extend this immersion.
Fred Viktor and Jerry Bouthier
Sound designers Fred Viktor and Jerry Bouthier act as bespoke composers for Nolinski Venezia’s acoustic landscape. They weave musical textures and tempos to dress each space according to the hour. A vibrant, energetic tracklist flows through Il Caffè Zeffirino on the ground floor. A cinematic, dreamlike score fills the Library Bar, while a floating, meditative soundscape accompanies your time around the panoramic plunge pool beneath the historic roof timbering.
