Cour des Vosges Hotel
Designers & Curators
An intimate address and a hotel unlike any other in the heart of Le Marais, Cour des Vosges invites guests to step into the world of a grand French residence. Set on Place des Vosges, overlooking Square Louis XIII, this unique House offers a discreet and deeply personal experience inspired by the history of the place and the Parisian art of living.
Imagined as the home of a family of aesthetes and collectors who have inhabited these walls since the 16th century, Cour des Vosges unveils a world where sculptures, ceramics, tapestries and furnishings tell the story of generations of passion for art. The historic architecture blends with a carefully curated interior, creating a singular atmosphere filled with character and emotion.
More than a luxury hotel in Paris, Cour des Vosges is a living heritage, where each stay offers an immersion into beauty, art and the timeless elegance of a private residence.
Yann Le Coadic & Alessandro Scotto
Architects Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto drew inspiration from the history of Paris to reinterpret the legacy of the former Hôtel de Montbrun. Faced with a listed historic building, the duo chose to preserve and respect the authenticity of the property at every stage.
The original painted-beam ceilings and historic terracotta floors have been carefully preserved. The designers combined the heritage of the Louis XIII period with clean-lined furniture inspired by the 1970s. Their bespoke interventions reveal majestic volumes beneath ceilings reaching up to five metres in height.
Amélie du Chalard
Passionate about contemporary creation, gallerist and artistic director Amélie du Chalard curated the hotel’s art collection. She envisioned Cour des Vosges as a residence shaped by generations of collectors, alive with stories and discoveries.
Amélie du Chalard sourced and assembled exceptional pieces for each room and suite. Her bold selection brings together antique sculptures, contemporary tapestries and graphic design pieces. The result is an emotional visual journey centred around the pursuit of beauty.
Anatole Desachy
Bookseller and independent antiques specialist Anatole Desachy personally selected the books available to our guests. Specialising in rare editions and photography monographs, he curated an exclusive library for the property.
The collection brings together works by internationally renowned photographers and major literary voices from around the world. Each room and suite features a personalised selection of books, inviting guests to enjoy moments of reflection, discovery and escape.
