Weiqing Long

Inspired by the hotel’s décor, the dress is hand-dyed in blue and emerald green for an even, natural colour transition, using weaving techniques to make the fabric more modern and architectural. The silhouette is a nod to the power dressing style popular in the 80s, and I chose the sheath dress to match the hotel’s sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic.
