Marouane Lebrun

Particularly famous in Venice, Commedia dell’arte is a theatrical genre founded in the 16th century, marked by naivety and cunning. Molière was a fervent fan of this genre and used it in several of his works. Here, I imagine an actress falling into the drapes of a theatre during her performance, taking a pole with her. The world of entertainment is a cultural element that unites Paris and Venice, so I wanted to bring a humorous, theatrical touch to this silhouette.
